Your weekly moment of goat
If you happened to watch the Academy of Impossible Live show on Twitch this past weekend, you will know that we had a moment of great excitment: it appeared as if one of our goats, Elaine Brown, was about to go into labour.
Unfortunately, after much watching and waiting (and sleep deprivation), this turned out to be a false alarm. While I am still trying to figure out exactly what happened, what is clear is that she isn't going to deliver anytime soon.
Goats, in addition to being unparalled agents of chaos, can also be inscrutable as hell.
However, in honour of our misadventure with Elaine, the latest post up on the Herrleklären website is also goat-themed: Of goats and conifers.
The latter also includes my latest upload to the Herrleklären YouTube channel, which has increasingly become a testament to my learning curve in using the free, professional grade videoediting software, Da Vinci Resolve (just as the website reflects my experimentation with Ghost as an online publication platform).
Finally, Herrleklären now has its own Facebook page.
A hearty thank you to all who have subscribed, liked or followed any or all of these various social media outposts of Herrleklären. Like clapping for Tinkerbell, every indication of audience engagement breathes life into this project, by drawing forth the nuturing caresses of the algorithms that determine whether one “exists” or not on the Internet.
